Rubber check valve, also known as duckbill valve, non-return valve and one-way valve, normally allows fluid to flow through it in only one direction. Rubber check valve is widely applied in water drainage project and pump station, Henan Lanphan analyzed the advantages of duckbill valve applied in seawater drainage project.
Rubber Check Valve
Rubber check valve applied in seawater drainage project to maintain higher jet velocity. In traditional seawater drainage project, jet tip is fixed diameter, so the jet flow velocity go up with the increase of flow, and low discharge valve matches low jet flow velocity. However, the outlet area of rubber check valve will go up with the increase of discharge valve.
Duckbill valve applied in seawater drainage project to prevent seawater and sediment form intrusion. The density of seawater and waste water is different, the duckbill of rubber check valve is changed with flow, when discharge valve of waster water is zero, the duckbill valve will in close condition. Also the duckbill valve still posses high jet velocity in low discharge valve, efficiently prevent the seawater and waste water form intrusion.
Duckbill valve applied in seawater drainage project to the benefit of washing discharge pipe. If the duckbill valve installed on discharge pipe, the waste water can discharge from all ascension pipes in condition of low discharge valve, with the increase of discharge valve, seawater at pipe bottom will be sucked out.
Duckbill valve applied in seawater drainage project to obtain higher dilution. Model test result shows that rubber check valve can obtain higher waster water dilution than fixed jet tip.
Rubber check valve applied in seawater drainage to prevent corrosion. Metal components submerged in seawater for long time, it is easy to rust and corrode, while rubber check valve is made from rubber material, rubber has excellent anti-corrosion performance.
