Diaphragm Damage

Lab electric diaphragm pump is pushed by air pressure to do high speed motion, diaphragm has to bear medium impact force while doing high speed motion, thus, it is easily broken.

Maintenance method: change a new diaphragm. Once the diaphragm is broken, it can hardly reach rated pressure, in high speed condition, the diaphragm damage will be worse and worse.

One-way Vale Abrasion

When medium is suctioned into pump case, the medium impurity or particle hit one-way valve and reduce the smoothness, one-way valve damaged and make medium lack of pressure and flow rate.

Maintenance method: if the abrasion is not serious, we can use sanding method to smooth the surface of one-way valve; if the abrasion is serious, we’d better change a new one-way valve for the diaphragm vacuum pump.

Both-way valve Blocking

Bothway valve do reciprocating motion under the blow of high pressure gas, when the high pressure gas has impurity or too wet, it is easy to block the both-way valve.

Maintenance method: we need to clean the both-way valve for electric diaphragm pump. Please be careful when cleaning the both-way valve, since most of the accessories are small and it needs high sealing performance.
