Lanphan Staffs Practiced at Workshop in Hot Summer

At the end of June, Henan Lanphan organized all staffs to take a four-day long plant practice in workshop, for the purpose of supporting factory production and strengthen knowledge of product and manufacturing technology.

In the morning of 21st, we gathered early and took Zhengshang No.1 bus to get to our factory which located in Shangjie district. We arrived at factory at 10 o’clock, technical manager David Liu lead us to get factory uniforms and lunch tickets, our four-day’s plant practice finally began.

We firstly visited rubber lining workshop in the morning of 21st, the main duty of rubber lining workshop is lining different rubber material inside the metal pipelines, playing function of corrosion resistance and pipeline protection. Small diameter metal pipe fitting needs to press rubber material tightly with pipe inner wall by hand, then begin to vulcanize.

After a short nooning, David Liu guided us to the packing workshop and began afternoon work---packaging rubber expansion joints . Our factory has extremely strict quality control system, every batch of cargo should be checked and been pressure tested, only qualified products can be packaged. We packaged DN125 rubber expansion joint s, firstly wipe up the flanges, then stick down approval label, later we should package the rubber expansion joints by plastic thin film for the fist layer, and package it by woven bag for the second layer, in this way to ensure intact during transportation.

Intership at Workshops

First day’s work task is not very heavy, we finished package at four in the afternoon. Since time is early, David Liu guided us to walk around in the factory to learn more about our production equipments, production procedure and processing technology. This is the main purpose of this plant practice, letting our sellers get a deeper knowledge of product production process and technology, which helps to better communicate with customers.

On the second day and third day, we continued working in package workshop, product manager Robot Liu also lead us to visit every workshop after finishing working, deepen the memory of production procedure.

On June 24th, we transfer to rubber workshop and saw the production process of a 2.8m-diameter rubber expansion joint, we helped to lining the inner and outer rubber layer, and got a more detailed understanding of rubber expansion joints production.

Although we’ve been through a short period in factory, we obtained valuable knowledge in four-day’s short time. Every staff has been realized that theory knowledge can not survive without practical experience, we must seize more opportunities to practice at plant.
